Of course. A wire, wifi, bluetooth, motion detection, IR, whatever any other switch will work off.
You simply make it have that type of switch when you make it....its as hard to turn on as a flashlight or yard light, etc.

Do you mean an electrical wire type switch or a pressure switch as on a firearm?
Either one can be done, it is up to what you want.
