I just got an email from Newegg. Apparently the Pioneer 115 20X DVD burner is up for a "Customer Choice Award." They want my opinion of the unit. I need your help here. In my comments, should I focus on the ease with which the sled can be removed from the unit? Should I emphasize how easy it is to access the diode? Should I talk about how I can drive this diode to a higher mW output so it can burn stuff more quickly?

I am in a quandry. What do you think I should write about?

Peace,
dave

P.S. I wonder if this is up for an award because they are selling so many of these units to us?

You should talk about how slow it writes to the disk, and insist on a 40x ;D

Yeah, you might as well say why you would buy the unit and what use you get out of it...

You should be honest then.

"Oh yeah, this is a great product. As soon as I get it I immediately go and smash it to pieces."

:-?

I would be dissapointed if you didn't.
Bonus points if you completey ignore its intended purpose in your review.
