This is part of the goodies sooncoming for the Herc.

Below is the AC wall adapter so you can run your Herc as long as you like without worrying about batteires...... 29.00
and also the Case which they are not including free with the purchase of a Herc.... all you do is contact them to pay for shipping to get the case.
When the AC adapter is plugged in, the battery circuit is bypassed.. so no need to remove batteries etc.

Mine came with a custom label showing the power output of my unit!

Note also that even though the camera doesn't show it well.. there are "tearouts" on the foam.. so you can customize exactly how you want everything to fit!

Nice pics! To clarify:

All new Hercules are being shipped with a case similar to this one. Pictured is the large size case which can hold accessories, there is also a smaller case which holds just the laser. You can choose which case you receive but by default we will ship the large case only if your purchase comes with accessories like the goggles, adaptor, etc.

The Aries, Orion, and Hades also have a new case like this. The design is a little smaller to better fit the Aries-size housing, but the basic idea is the same.

Any existing Hercules owners can contact Laserglow to receive their own case free of charge (pay only for shipping).

I'm wondering Justin. Do you guys make flight cases for the Aries series? My Aries is on route as we speak and this will be really good to protect it whilst i'm travelling.

Timelord: If you ordered the Aries fairly recently (in the last few weeks or so) we would have shipped it in the new case, with a very similar design to Windstrings' Hercules case. It will work great for safe travelling and storage of your new laser! This is sort of a "soft launch" for the new cases as the website does not mention them yet, but we will be issuing a newsletter sometime soon to announce the cases plus a couple of other neat developments we've been working on.

My Aries is from SenKat so it's second hand i'm unsure about the warranty status, but i know it's in mint condition. So i will be looking to purchase one in the near future. So prices and shipping costs to the UK will be helpful. ;)

I guess the pictures may give the impression is a soft vinyl type material or something.. but its not.
I don't know what its made of, but the black part is not metal like the aluminum sides are.
I believe it may be some kind of a composite hard plastic... seems very durable like you could throw it off a tall building and the case would survive.... I just don't know about the G forces on the laser itself!....LOL!

Justin: I recently bought an Aries and love it - how much for a case like the hercules case???

Windstrings: what are you using to cover the aperature from foam particles in the case??? I use a ziplock baggie loosely fitted over the end.

You can close the aperture with a twist of the end......

Did you look at the end and do your realize thats an option?

I can't remember, but I thought the Aries had that too.....

But I haven't even torn mine yet.. so I'm unaware of any particles.

Yep, the Aries, Herc, and Envee have that as their aperture shutter. Its a pretty cool design IMO, though if you've ever took one apart and looked under the cap, its also amazingly simple.

I do close the aperature, but I guess I'm overly paranoid about getting it dusty and not being able to clean it completely. Come to think of it, I never really notice too many foam particles on it. Maybe I'm being obsessive... :)

My understanding Timelord is that warranty if fully transferrable to the next owner...no problems.

I totally understand when its your baby and you spent so much..... but I dont' think thats an issue.... worse case scenario and you ever did get something that wouldn't dislodge.. I don't think cleaning the lens is a big deal... you just have to remove that shutter window so you could access it with a lens cleaner.

If you're an existing Aries owner and want one of the new cases (similar to windstrings but appropriately sized for the Aries), please contact me at work and we can discuss cost, shipping, etc.
