Was it DOA? Sounds like they sent you a broken laser. The diode is probably LED'd and that host isn't really "repair friendly" --> It won't be easy to replace the diode in that laser.

I got it from ebay..it was described as new unoped,..but it came without the box, manual, glasses case,or even the battery..now this is the thing,..since I didnt have any battery,..I took two smaller ones from my vape pen, and it turned on,..but went off...now the leds all come on..but I think it had to have burned out or something

There's your problem. It runs off only one 18650 cell (3.7V). I'm assuming the batteries you used were two 16340 which are 3.7V each.

Yes, you popped the driver and the story so far tells me you lack the engineering skills or patience to replace it.

It will be extremely difficult to get any form of refund given your situation, so I doubt contacting customer service will lead anywhere useful, especially since it's WL.

You could always sell it on the forum for whatever it is worth. I'm sure someone would find a use for it, or even have a go at building another laser into the host.

You pretty much lost any chances of getting your money back when you used two batteries instead of one. The laser was "significantly not as advertised" because it was missing the box, manual, etc. and was clearly opened.

Now, you have a dead laser that is extremely difficult to repair.

Use the ebay buyer protection he sent you a faulty laser you should get your money back.. today if on ebay you buy something you have right to get your money back if the item breaks or you never recieve it, i have myself got money back on a 20$ only auction for a flashlight that never arrived.

eBay Money Back Guarantee

He didn't send him a faulty unit, the laser he received used 1x18650 battery and he inserted 2x16340 batteries which killed the laser.
