I have decided after noticing a few blind spots in my vision and not being able to focus on things like I used to, to sell my lasers, I have always been responsible with them but apparently messed up somewhere. However when I sell them all I want to get 1 really good laser that I will keep with me as a memory, but I have had trouble finding one, this is where I need your help.

Budget (expected): $700

I was thinking about an 80mW or so 473nm labby, because I think that would be a very nice laser but 1. I don't know where to get one in my price range and 2. I think a handheld may be more convenient. What I want is a really nice wavelength such as 473nm and enough power to see the beam easily (think 50mW 532nm). It also needs to be of good quality because I want it to last a long time. I have looked into laserglow but spending $700+ on a 45mW handheld does not seem like the best I can find. :thanks: for your help.

Your vision problems may be unrelated to your lasers. I started to not be able to focus on things like I used to before I got my first laser, although I have always had poor eyesight. I am 51 now and its not getting any better. Don't be so quick to give up a hobby you enjoy, and go get an eye exam.

Yeah, exactly. It could be glaucoma or macular degeneration. One is on one side of my family and the
other one on the other side. Hopefully it's the former and not the latter. Glaucoma is much easier to treat.
I hope you get better soon.

I had an eye test a few months ago, and I don't have any major issues (besides not being able to read anything on their eye check test without contacts in). I don't really use my lasers much anymore anyway, and I would rather not have an accident or have it happen to someone who is messing with one of them. Besides, Quality > Quantity.

Unless your an ant :) GL with your sales and if I had to sell all mine then only have one laser as a memory I would build my last one. Get the quality your looking for and that personal touch.
