Need help with laser build

Hi. I am brand new with lasers, and need some help with a small build.

The plan is to swap a 5mW 532nm Green laser diode from this: 5mW 532nm Green Laser Pointer Pen with DX Logo (2*AAA) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

with a 100mW 405nm Blue-Violet/Royal Purple Laser Module (3V) :100mW 405nm Blue-Violet/Royal Purple Laser Module (3V) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

1. Is it going to be enough power with 2x AAA 1.5V battery's? Or do i need another type of battery?
2. Is there any way of focusing the laser beam?

Remember, this is going to be a cheap, simple build. Nothing like all the cool super-lasers that are in this forum...

1. 2x AAA's will work fine.
2. The focus on the module is probably glued down.
