You can get away with just thermal adhesive if you have it flat enough but I like to use a layer of thermal tape in addition to the thermal adhesive just to give that extra buffer. Go for the very thin thermal tape no need to get the thick stuff.:beer:

Thanks Alien, the n465 turned out great. My first n450 went belly up like I stated. Got another one and will be using a bb6 ( my first time using that driver ) so I had to order some double sided thermo tape. So hopefully at the end of the month I can give the m450 a second go, this time pushing it at 4.0 amps. Lord willing, I'll have photons! :)
