and there is no reason for another member (you know who you are) to just toss out a + rep to counteract a well deserved - rep, this kid is NEVER going to learn how to behave on this forum if someone gives him a candy bar right after he gets one taken away.

Reputation is EARNED, and the original poster earned his minus rep, he did not earn the plus rep you gave him out of pity, spite for me or whatever reason.

"good man" ???? a "good man" would not start threads with homophobic slurs in the title and use the f bomb on public boards.

amazing post. hits a lot of important topics. I have bold-ed some of the more important ones.

but seriously dude, now would be the time to switch into "total-****ing-apology mode", as I like to call it. The main thing you have to do is REALIZE YOUR MISTAKE and stop fighting it. I understand that you "already apologized" but you have to show that you mean it. A similar thing happened to me a while back where I made a stupid mistake (asking people for rep) and what saved my butt from being in the far-far-negative-rep zone is apologizing, meaning it, and then backing it up. You didn't hear me say "i'm sorry" in one post and then "I ALREADY APOLOGIZED, GET OFF MY CASE" in the next

I hope your situation gets better, I hope you don't get too many -reps, and I truly do hope that you learn from this, even though it wasn't that humongous of a mistake (as compared to mine, described earlier...). Have a great day

i've had good experience with rayfoss and o-like as well. i also agree i'd rather save the hundreds of dollars. i admit though, wicked lasers got some killer looking hosts. and yeah AAA batteries suck too. LOL. if you can afford hundreds of dollars on a laser you can afford 50 bucks for a bunch of lithium ions and chargers. LOL.

as far as high powered blu rays go, it's definitely way way cheaper to make your own using the hosts/modified hosts and heat sinks sold on this forum. i got a modified cree with heat sink from jay rob and i'm looking into ehgemus' host now. the pricing of making reds aren't much of a money saver since you can get them for like 50 bucks at 200mw. only thing is you risk confiscation so building ur own red could be valuable as well.

as far as the swearing goes, it's always better to be a bit more diplomatic. even when it comes to dissing someone, it's distasteful to swear. make them feel dumb with logic and words themselves. resorting to cussing isn't good. not saying to fight, but if u gonna do it don't just swear.

It's a colloquialism held by people around my generation... it's not acceptable, but is thrown out when people are angry. Just like when they get ignored by a company that they just sent a pile of money to...

He presented an honest apology for his behavior in the OP, and now seems to know how things work. Though and edit of the thread title would have been nice.

Yes, he earned the -rep. In my opinion (for better or for worse), he also deserved what I did for trying to right it. I have no reason to do anything in spite against anyone, and I sincerely hope you don't take me for a spiteful individual. :undecided:

If you've got your heart set on a WL host (which I admit are very nice), try asking Glenn or somebody to start a GB on blank WL hosts and then get one and have build a custom laser out of it, with a module from O-like or something. You'll save huge $$ and have a custom laser
