OK lets talk about highest priced when newsome guys here will probably blow our minds.
Than it would be likely Wicked Lasers Laserdock. It costs almost 700 bucks now. But I got it much cheaper as former IGG crowdfunder. If I speak about what I paid for laser, the Spartan remains on top of the list.

For me the most I have spent on a single laser is probably the Spartan. Although if I count my RGB that I was assembling long ago, then I am looking at nearly £600.

I spent over $400.00 on a single build nearly three years ago, but I spent close to $1000.00 for the parts to build 6 sinner Envy 2+ watt lasers less than 2 years ago. My argon is probably the most expensive I have if you are going by the original new price. I haven't spent that kind of money in the past two years since i have other obligations now.

I don't think i've ever spent over $50 or so on a complete laser.
I've spent more on parts including galvo's, probably even individual diodes, but those all went into builds at some point. I think the most expensive laser i still have and use is a little 100 mW-ish 532 nm thing from o-like, not sure what i paid for it, i reckon about $30 plus shipping.

1. RPL I got from DJNY. one of my most regretted buys, after all that happened, and has come out since. IIRC, I paid $900 for it
2. PL-E 800mW 532 I used to have was like $700ish
3. my 589 spartan. my custom 2" diameter copper heatsink ehgemus nubm44 build. my PL-E 1W 520nm w BE. all cost over $400. my dominator originally cost around $350, but it has been home to many diodes since the original, and now houses my 4W 465nm. that one would be a pretty penny too
my gun sight laser, which is now on my airbow, was $250. now they have 520nm ones for half that
