Can you open the power supply case and see where the wires go? My "guess" would be red/black wires are Vin and the yellow/black wires are TTL, probably +5volts.
This is just my guess so....

ok where is the source of the yellow and black wires becuase of the connecter i assume this is a modulated laser

the red and black are your power supply do you now what it runs of of IE 120vac or 12vdc

Without seeing a datasheet, this is my best guess:

Red / Black should be power. Probably 5V.
Yellow / Black is modulation. You'll need to feed that 5V to get it running at full power.

i doubt that you need a 5v power supply

with that big of a psu i would think either mains or 12v dc like most labs

its ttl meaning you need 5v on the yellow and black wires

it does not say what the laser runs off of :/

I always test 5V first, in case it takes that. Don't want to start by letting out the magic smoke. :)

Ok pictures taken of inside the driver.. uploading now.

Black and red wires coming out of the PSU in the first picture in original post go in underneath straight into a resistor so that's gotta be power in.. the red and black coming out of the top of the driver board goes into a fan and so does the other one on the right hand side. One of the left says + 12V - on it and the right hand side one says +12 OV on the connectors.

The black and yellow says + vin - on the connector and that just comes straight of out the PSU / Driver box like you can see on the original post picture.

Also theres a switch on the left hand side of the driver board board which says TTL+ click it down one and it would be on TTL - then click it down one more time and it's on AIN.

Probably black/yellow for power supply and red/black for modulation. There is no power cord, is there?

probably you got those swapped the ebay page even tells you also the connector that you would put on a breakout board iss a key sign

No there isn't a power cord as such, the only three cables coming out of the device are shown in the op picture, which is the red and black and yellow and black, then there's the power going to the laser head, which is the black cable, what you see is what's there, nothing came with the laser either.
