Micro-channel Heat Sinks

I'm just wondering if anyone has considered, or used, any micro-channel heat sinks in higher wattage builds. I started looking into this and was surprised at how much is out there for liquid and air injected heat sinks.

I have read some here about liquid cooling-
IIRC they were using oil ..
