If im not mistaken, its just some UV LED's and a bleach that activates under the UV.
No laser involved just plain LED's..

no an LED can not be classified a laser. but a Laser can be called an LED. rememeber "LD= Laser Diode, and LED= light emitting diode."

An LED emits neither Coherent light nor Monochromatic light. Two things a laser must do.

It's generally peroxide in higher concentrations. It is activated with blue or UV light.

The main difference between laser and LED is their different output transmit power. The laser with much higher power compared to LED.
