its that time of the year again...no not Christmas, science fair project time. This year i STILL have to do one for school and i most definately want it to have something to do with lasers in general. I will have to be able to preform some sort of experiment that is high school level and needs to have at least one manipulated variable as well as a independent variable.

any ideas from the brilliant minded peanut gallery?

btw, i can spend a few extra $$ if you know what i mean = D

The easiest would be to do a comparison of different Wavelengths, and there visibleness. Also which wavelength will pop a balloon faster, or the most colored balloons. And buy a clear balloon and show them that it will not pop.
ill be doing this next year :)

sounds good to me. I think i will do the different wavelength one. I will Test them on black balloons and the clear balloon will be my independent variable. The only thing i will have to purchase is a light meter and three colored lasers.." i have three of different colors "but its just that they all have different strengths, 20mW, 155mW, 190mW.

Well by looking at your Sig, you need a more powerful green laser. i would say get a 50mw to be cheap or go with a alpha 105 from nova lasers. or to impress them use a ir laser :D

yea.. might have too. or i could just find some people on here to let me borrow their lasers or i could have them preform the tests at their house and just tell me the results.
