Ok so I was checking out the Wicked Lasers site to see how many scams and total BS they had and look at this!

Are you freaking kiding me, like im going to pay 9.99 + 20$ shiping for 50 black balloons that say Wicked Lasers on theme!

I seen a video on youtube of theme are their not even that blackish and they say to throw away that black marker but Sharpie colored balloons are actualy darker than theirs. Next I went to the dolar store and go myself 2 packs of 30 for 1$ each, so the total is 1.50$ of gas for the car, 2.30$ for 60 balloons that are darker than those "special" Wicked ones.

i spent many days at party stores trying to find balloons that were black till i noticed that they were on wicked lasers for a cheaper price than anywhere else and with a higher quality plastic

what the hell... why the heck do u want "quality" plastic IF YOU'RE GONNA POP EM!!!!

they sell black balloons everywhere




now, lets do some calculating:

10 dollars for 50 balloons, 20 dollars shipping

thats 30 dollars for 50 balloons

in argentina that is:


1 dollar = 3,15 argentinean pesos

so that would be:

30*3,15 = 94,5 pesos for 50 black WL balloons

BUT a bag of 100 water balloons costs 3,50 pesos here
so with 94,5 pesos i can either buy 50 WL balloons or:

94,5 pesos / 3,5 pesos for a water balloon bag = 27 bags of water balloons

and 27 bags contain: 27*100 = 2700 water balloons.

if you want we can choose to not buy ONE bag of water balloons and instead buy one black marker:

3 pesos for 1 black marker

so we have:

26 bags of water balloons (total of 2600 water balloons) + 1 black marker + 0,50 pesos left = 94,5 pesos that could've been wasted on WL's black balloons :)

Lol! Thats so true, why would you want good quality plastic if your going to pop theme (I doubt its good quality anyway).

I also seen people in LC say that their coated with some special flamable finishing paint so when your laser just touches it, it will catch fire but its so small that you cant see it and will let little 5mW lasers pop theme in like 2 seconds.

Seriously whats the point of balloon poping if your using balloons that are rigged to the extreme, thats like giving an escape artist plastic handcuffs.

I feel you are being a little unfair. First of all, it is not fair to add in shipping because the only time anyone would ever buy these would be to add them on top of a purchase of a laser ( aka you already have to pay shipping ). In addition, these ARE pretty thick balloons. They seem to stay very dark even when blown all the way up. You do not have to add extra sharpie at all:

But if you don't want to buy from wicked, feel free to go with a trusted company like nova where you can get 10 balloons for ONLY 4 BUCKS!!!!:

Now that's a bargain.

So if in THIS SITUATION, nova is more of a rip off than wicked, well I don't think it's fair to get mad.

However, I am not saying you should buy balloons from either of these places. They are both RIP OFFS!

It is fair to ad shiping because alot of companys take a bit of money off the price of their item and ad it to their shiping so it looks cheeper, its like on ebay, laser pointer 5mW red 1$ + 10$ shiping.

And btw somtimes Wicked Lasers ships stuff seperatly without telling you, like when you buy "The Torch" from theme theirs plenty of space in the box but they ship the charger seperatly so you pay an extra 10$.

Next if you read the comments people are buying these individualy in around packs of 2 or 3 so their paying a crap load of money for stuff that you can find at your local dolar store thats around every corner. And I never said Nova was not a rip off either, their both rip offs.

And like I said their coated with some flamable finish so all it takes is a little bit of heat and then theirs like a microscopic sized flame that happens and it pops the balloon so you can use 5mW reds to pop em almost.

Tricked balloons is like escape artist using plastic handcuffs.

This is probably what the folks at Wicked do with the balloons before sending them out. ;D

i have 2 types of black balloons, one feels hard when blown up and pops rather easily when a laser is focused on it, the other is more softer/stretchier feel to it and can sometimes be a pain to pop from a distance.

It's impossible to pop a perfect white balloon using any wavelength in the visible spectrum...

Of course, that's a "perfect" balloon.
