Yeah, The same thing happens to me but it's when i'm about to post a LOONG reply in a thread and when I click "submit reply", I get the dreaded "BRB folks, forum maintenance" message... and obviously even though I click on "backpage" my elaborate and captivating text is gone forever... AAARgh!!! :scowl:

Someone should make a little message on top of the website warning of upcoming maintenances and thusly avoiding my brilliant diatribes to be vaporized from existence...

Yeah... that's another one...
I use FF and when I click the Back Button the text is still there and I
copy it for later use..
If it's a long maintenance I sometimes copy it to Notepad and save it.

But I agree... If we knew when a maintenance shutdown was going to
happen we would loose a lot less typed posts...

You know what's annoying? Making a super-cool red burning laser, having one of the diode leads fall off, then finding LPF and reading how stupid it is to put it in a mini-mag lite, because it would have just broken eventually.

This happened a few years ago, but it still annoys me and is a waste of money :cryyy:

My gripe for today: My niece's school cant sit "indian" style anymore because its "racist". Instead they have to sit "criss cross apple sauce". Now that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Poor kids today, I truly feel sorry for them.
