LaserShirts Design Contest - Free Hoodie!

THANK YOU everyone for the support in the first Glow in the Dark designs. They turned out great and we got 27 items printed in the first run with requests for another run later!

I have permission to allow use of the LPF logo/emblem/name in this design (in fact, it's required). The purpose is to come up with a design so we can
1. Support this awesome forum
2. support the laser hobby and
3. Have some cool laser shirts/polos/hoodies!

So here's the deal for the LaserShirts Design Contest:

THE WINNER
The winner gets 1 free hoodie or polo or 2 tshirts (winner's choice)
If the winner consists of 2 people (one came up with the idea, one vectorized the design) then each member will get 1 free tshirt.



Rules:
Come up with a design that includes "Laser Pointer Forums" (LPF Logo is okay to use per Avery). The design must be completely vectorized for a high quality printing.
If you do not have vectorizing skills, but have a great idea, get together with another member that can vectorize designs.
Realize, the more colors you use, the more expensive cost per shirt will be. Full color designs will have a higher cost to print (but it'll be sooo cool).

THE JUDGES
The judges for this contest will be all the LPF members! The way this works, is I will post the designs in a new post. I will take the orders and update a list as they come in.

TIMEFRAME
You have until September 15th 11:59 PM Mountain Time to get your design(s) done. (Yes, you may submit more than one design). Please email your design to me at reubart@gmail.com so I can post all the designs at the same time (Sept 16). I will be taking orders (no payments yet) until October 15th (1 month for ordering). Whichever design has the most pieces ordered wins (minimum of 20 items must be ordered). If orders are withdrawn, making the total items ordered be less than 2nd place, then 2nd place will become the new winner and I will give another month of ordering.

Once the winning design is locked in, I will give 2 weeks for all other members to switch their orders to the winning design if they so desire.

I do not claim and will not claim ownership of your designs and artwork, however, I do reserve the right to use the designs to print shirts solely for the members of LPF.

DONATIONS
A percentage per item ordered/paid will be donated to the LPF forum for the awesomeness that it is! (depends on final design but will be around $3-5 per item)

Since we're using the LPF logo this time though, I think it appropriate to give it to LPF THIS time. And probably every time for every order from here on out.

How about if I just act childish ?
Could you donate it to me ?
If I show you my financial status I can prove that I am definitely "non-profit" !

I'd say we all have a good deal of child in us. I'm excited to see what designs we children can come up with!

Time to get familiar with making vector drawings, I have some ideas...

You know, if there's a design (like above) that you personally want, I'm more than willing to get printed whatever you want printed. Just remember, the more you get, the less per shirt you have to pay. And especially if you want them all shipped to you, that will cost less overall and then you can send them out and charge whatever you want.
