"The possibility of animal abuse" ... "The fishes don't even bleed."

[sarcasm]wow. This is good news. I was afraid the fish would be afraid from being HELD DOWN against their will and tattoos LASER-ETCHED onto their fins. But wow. At least they didn't bleed.[/sarcasm]

:wtf:

I am totally against fish tatooing, and I bet they are held against their will. But I know they won't stop doing it, so I'm glad to see this. A lot of the time fish are dumped into acid (to remove the scale coating), then into the dye. Average morality rate is around 80-90%.

It is quite ridiculous... If you cant enjoy/appreciate a creature for it's natural beauty then you should just move on. All the genetic engineering and modification that we do to animals for our own enjoyment is just plain wrong...

I wrote my name on my plecostomus through the tank glass with a red laser a few years back. He didn't seem to care and only jumped once or twice. It faded in a few weeks though.

Why can't we just leave nature alone? It's just so unnecessary and wrong, do people have no conscience?

apparently not... I remember reading somewhere about whit tigers and how they're breed for their unique look. But sadly they have poor eyesight and suffer from other problems that regular tigers don't have... But who cares, they sure are pretty! :scowl:

Same with blood parrots (fish). They're a flowerhorn/red parrot hybrid, people love them and buy them, but it's just supporting animal cruelty. The fish can't even close their mouths, and sometimes starve to death.

Cyparagon there's no freakin need to post that filth here. That is freakin disgusting and wrong! You may hate hippies but keep that to yourself; and caring about animal cruelty does not automatically make you a hippie.
