Hey guys,

I've been reading these forums for a while now, and continue to see tons of new members or guests asking the same simple questions such as: "Can I pot mod this 5mw red to burn stuff?" or "Can my $50 ebay laser burn?".

So to help solve this, I decided to make an easy to use iPhone application that users can download before posting here. The app is designed to help users understand what their laser can do, and how much they should pay for them. It also has links to reputable laser sellers, as well as links to this forum. I also have sections of the app focusing specifically on Laser laws by country, and laser classes and their definitions.

My problem is, after submitting to the app store, I received the message saying the App cannot be posted because of lack of features.

Apps that are not very useful, are simply web sites bundled as apps, or do not provide any lasting entertainment value may be rejected.

I am posting this here, because I need help on ideas of things you'd like to see implemented in the app so that I can get it on the app store.

Once complete, the app will be free, and I hope it will help new laser enthusiasts as they buy their first laser, and also so people will be aware of the laws, and dangers involved.

I have included screenshots of the app to give an example of what it does currently (sorry for the weird resolution...LPF needs pics to be 800 by 600), again anything you'd like to see implemented let me know.

Thanks!

That is cool! +1 from me!
A laser terms dictionary would be good.

That sucks that it got rejected. I've been there before. You can appeal, and they are nice about it usually.

Thanks, and yeah I submitted an appeal but got the same response, oh well! I think a terms dictionary is a great idea, thanks for the input.
