Hey,

So i just got my C6 445nm blue laser.
It worked fine at first, No problem, But then after perhaps a minute when i opened the front to see the heatsink and put it back together it started to get extremely hot, The batterys got to a point where you could barely touch them.

What happened? Im not an expert with assembling lasers.
Can it be the Silver paper around the heatsink? It dosnt really cover the heatsink very well.

Please help me ASAP :$

Sounds like you pinched a wire and caused a short. Pull your batteries until you find and correct it!

It gets hot .. fine .. but what about the laser ? It works or not ? If it is short, it would not work.

Something's off. The battery should not be hot like that. They should only get warm. It's very dangerous if a Li-ion battery gets hot.

I sold him the 445nm C6 laser. After playing with the laser he got curious about the laser and wanted a peek inside.
The cap of the C6 host was taken off and the wires inside got twisted and torn off. Now the laser gets very hot after turning on.

I offer him to repair the laser. I hope he got the fixed laser back fast.
