Btw I just submit my order through laserbtb and I did not get a order confirmation directly from the website. I only got one from paypal. Is that normal? Usually I get a confirmation from the company of the site. Also, will I get a tracking number? I did not see that anywhere?

Cool username! :D

From what I can remember buying from laserbtb you won't get an order confirmation from them. Do you have an account with laserbtb? If so, just go into "your orders" and you can check the progress on your item. If not, I believe Frank(his name?) will send you a shipping email.

Ugh, it's been like 1 year since I bought from them :/ If you really want, send them an email!

The cheaper one, already forgot what it was called. $22 i think. Not the $30 dhl one or whatever it was.
The tracking might or might not work for the airmail. Personally, I would've spent a little more for the DHL. Both should be fine though, you'll just need to wait a little longer and might have unreliable tracking info.

I've only got one Skylasers (laserbtb) the 80mw 405 pen and it came relatively quick for overseas co. About 2 weeks, the wait is def the worst part about it, but they even commented on my YouTube video (04mach1speed) it'll def come and you'll be happy with it :)

So the agonizing wait is almost over! XD The laser (PL 445 1600mW) is almost here. Should arrive at my door in the next couple of days. Anyway, I had a few more questions about it and some other laser things:
1. Will this laser come with a power certificate or something? How will I know I got what I paid for? How can I test/see that this laser is around 1600mW?
2. Does duty cycle mean how long you can keep the laser on before you should turn it off so you don't damage it? 4 minutes on / 20seconds off? What can happen if you leave it on for a long time?
3. How does the focusing work on this exactly? Do I unscrew the lense to make the focal point closer to the laser? So at a distance the beam will just be a big circle hotspot?
4. Do you want to unscrew it to burn things at a short distance? Can this laser still burn things at a longer distance? How long exactly?

1: Not sure, I only order from DTR half the time. Unless you have a LPM you won't know how powerful your laser really is, but I doubt you will get ripped off.

2: Yes. Leaving it on for too long will damage the laser.

3: Screw in the lens until you get your desired point. You'll have to play around with it depending on what lens you have. I know my G2 lens you have to screw in to a certain point, to get the dot that you want, but once you're past that point it starts to widen out again.

4:I just leave mine focused into the tightest dot I can get and that will usually be your best option for burning, far and near. Maybe there are other cool options that other members can chime in on :)

Ok cool. Good to know. Also, the laser finally got here! This thing is scary powerful. Burns stuff very quickly. Is there a way to make the dot tighter? The thing is screwed in all the way, but seems to spread a bit at longer distances. I haven't tried long range burning yet. Also, can this thing take 18650's? Or only 2 16340's? Cuz I just read the manual online and it looks like you can use a 18650, but I want to make sure...

(I might do a small review on this later this week :)

I'm not sure on the batteries but for the dot you will Have to fiddle around with the lens. You can get a pretty tight dot if you have a G2 lens but not a perfect one. On my last build the lens didn't need screwed in all the way for the perfect dot, it needed to be unscrewed just a few turns before it got to be about perfect. Every build is different though so don't be afraid to experiment a little :)
