A welcome to the forum is usually how things start off not just dive into a question for help ppl get rather annoyed at that . And a location in your profile.......that aside You would be lucky to get a laser to do that unless the ties were black as a start. Second you need very good safety googles OD5 as the power needed to do that will be very high unless you want to wait 10 seconds per tie.You will not get a legal laser out of the box that will do that, you would need about 3 watts plus of 445nm blue, you would be better off using a pair of cutters its just to dangerous even if you had safety googles and the very high powered laser ,the laser would have to be made up from parts not off the shelf no such beast exists to my knowledge, maybe an industrial C02 laser but to big and bulky ....basically its not safe or practical

Sounds like another one trying to hack at those game machines. There is practically no other reason you'd need to cut a ziptie at 2 feet using a laser.

PS: Most of them have locked doors or even alarms that activate if it detects something has fallen, yet the game has not been won.

Here we go again...

If you're going to at least figure out how to scam the machine, figure it out yourself. I mean, for someone figuring out how to exploit machines I'm sure there's a following for that kind of stuff. But respect is for people who buy their own machines and try it, not people who actually do it in the wild.

LOL@ seeing somebody shine a massive laser into an arcade machine :p They have mirrors usually l000l. But in saying that, games like stacker are scams... they won't even let you win until a certain time.

All game cheating aside, I would never help a noob with a laser that strong. You would blind others and just be the next jackass on tv. Good luck getting help.

Well i made it pretty clear its not going to happen, you don't get lasers off the shelf anywhere commercially that can to what he wants to do, unless he wants to build it himself and its very dangerous even if he did, with googles, no real help just facts .I'm not even awear of the game machines ..I'm too much of an oldy....

It's this game here usually:

stacker.jpg

The items are suspended, they used to use string, but dickwads started cutting them with lasers, so they switched to zipties.

Well... I hate to do this but if you want an out of the box burning laser, get a -------------------. you'll be way over spending and have to wait a long time for shipping but yeah.
