Remember that glasses are only rated for certain wavelengths. If you purchase different wavelength lasers other then the glasses are rated for then make sure to buy a pair of glasses for the correct wavelength. Especially if you fire any laser with anyone nearby they need to have glasses on for not only their safety but yours aswell.
For example, I own 3 pairs of 3 different wavelengths of laser glasses as I do not live alone and when I do my laser testing I will close my door with a sign on it with a warning to knock before entering and put the additional goggles for the wavelength i'm using outside the door incase they need to come in.

But in all props for thinking ahead and ordering multiple pairs for your families sake! They are not cheap but spending the extra money to help save eyes is a great cause!

Are you going to let us known next time you make a sandwich too?

If you write here, try to make sure that your message is well written and contains all the information you want to share - and then before you click "Post", think about whether there is an actual purpose to sharing this with everyone.

If all laser enthusiasts made a new thread each time they wanted to say "hey I bought something.. so yeah, cool lol!" it would take forever to locate a single interesting thread on the forum. At least keep it to the "Other" section if you have to make useless posts.

The only true reason I can imagine for posting this is as a bad attempt at redeeming yourself by caring about safety. I find it difficult to applaud common sense, especially when someone is so proud of it.
