:drool::worthy:I thank you guys, especialy Jake for setting it up, and stimulating new members such as my self to donate to help keep such a vast assortment of laser hobby knowledge up on the internets, and all the folks donating parts to the whole system, I'll be sure to treat it well and give it a good home, and when its done I'll post the awsome-o shots that include the all import SAFETY GLASSES! To help advocate them! BTW rep incoming to all who contributed.

Yep made sure I bought them when I bought my survival laser mark I host, wanted to only need 1 pair of glasses for myself but in the end I had to get a second pair for the small gap in the deep green /yellow/ orange/and red band, especially considering most of the safety glasses are around $40 anyways I went with the $50 190-540 + 900-1700nm.

Oh cool the camera actually got the silkscren values on the lens for added proof.:beer:

BTW I still owe some people rep, hit the daily rep ceiling and some who donated I don't know their forum names from their real donated names.

Eagle pair, apperantly O-like "CLAIMS" to have a pair with white frame that covers all the wavelength bands, the major ones anyways, but I dought that is true.

Edit edit, I just double checked and they have a pic that shows the silkscreen on the lens and its a 190-450 + 800-2000nm

Sorry, Kmor. I'm still waiting on all of the donated parts to show up in my mailbox. I already got the host from coherent on sat. Just waiting on the rest.

On a positive note, I machined a driver mount for the host and worked on a special contibution for you today.

Yes, Jake took care of the diode donations and sent the funds to me. I actually just pressed the diode into the module :beer:

That's not the heatsink. That is a custom rocket nose-cone focus adapter that I machined to complement the host.
The heatsink is pretty deep in the head. That way the focus adapter can bottom out focused to infinity while still recessed to reduce accidentally bumping the focus off.
