I recently bought JayRob's 18650 Host and Heatsink. Taking the stock driver out, i'm trying to figure out how to connect the flexdrive to the battery? Any of you guys that have bought this, what did you do to solve this?

You could keep the stock driver of the host and connect the red wire of the stock driver to the + of the flexdrive and the black wire to the - of the flexdrive as shown in http://hacylon.case.edu/ebay/laser_diode/MicroFlexDrive_V5_manual.pdf so keep the stock driver inside along with the flexdrive and hook the battery to the bottom of the stock driver as you would do to use the host as a flashlight.
I am not sure though, so wait until someone else posts. I suggested this solution because my pocket mini worked that way and I don't think there would be any difference at all with the 18650 kit.

Just for others to see, I mention how to do this in my 18650 thread...

The gist of it is shown in this one picture:

Yeah I completely misread the post. By "Take out the stock driver" I thought you meant take the LED out, and by "Remove the components" I thought you meant take the thing off completely.
