Im pulling the trigger, as for adapter does it die over 600mA 12v or can it be something like 1A.

Edit he's got 1 left after me, perfect timing as the new batch is only finishing up now.

I have since used mine with a 12 volt 1 amp wall wart. It works fine. The driver will only pull the amount of current it needs, so any 12 volt wall wart over 600 mA will work fine. You can use a 12 volt 3 amp one if you wish. :yh:

I bought a gearbest chinese 2A wall 'wart'? adaptor with coaxial connector for my chargers, might just adapt a male for the driver leads for ease of use.

That should work fine. As long as it is at least 600 mA you should be okay. Do be extra careful about the polarity, though. It would be a shame to lose the driver because it was backwards.

Try emailing Freeman at: fb@optlaser.com. Ask for the 575nm laser. I paid $65.00 for mine with shipping. Of that, $35.00 was DHL Express shipping which got my laser to me from mainland China in less that four days.

oh okay, fantastic Paul. I don't know how long he'll have these so if i want one i better think about getting one soon, I really appreciate it paul

They either manufacture or assemble these lasers and have new ones coming available for purchase all the time. But, with the popularity of these lasers, I wouldn't wait to get on a list, at least.

yup. I was referring to the 2.2KW. Could be done and semi truck mounted but not car mounted. You need a 10k diesel generator and fuel to run it.

Oh, the 2.2kW. In that case a very serious sodium laser not copper. ;)

I suppose a 2,200W 589nm in theory could be possible. but you're right, you would need an almost unimaginable about of energy and current to operate one considering a small little 50mw DragonLasers Spartan consumes a rather large amount of power
just imagine a 2,200W 555nm
