Hey fans of LPF

I recently contacted a seller on ebay for these 5pcs 3V 650NM 5MW 6MM OD Copper Dot Semiconductor Laser Diode they normally sell for any were between two and five bucks for the five I sent them a message about what is the absolute best price they could give me. I heard back from them and they can do 1.3 per five units... I am finding out if they will ship for free and if they do is any one interested in a group buy at this price that is why this thread is here instead of at group buys just find out if there is interest enough

better deal i guess it comes out to be three bucks cheaper per 100

not bad considering some of these are getting upward of 30 mw... tested by another lpf member i bought a lot of five 2 days ago im shipping them to get metered so i know what i am playing with

The thing with a group buy on these though, is that it wouldn't be cost effective. If you need several, it's 2-3 bucks. If you need 100, it's 23, with different amounts for different needs in between.

With such a small cost per module it would defeat the purpose to have to ship them individually to different people after the initial shipment came in for you. Better for people to order on their own and wait just the initial 10-20 days for the e-packet delivery.

Good deal yeah, but what would you do with one? Make a pointer? I had a few from fast tech and had no idea what to do with them. I put one on a blow gun as a site lol, the other I used as a goof off module and put it in the end of a e cig, and stuck the battery in a pack of real smokes. The picture is floating around here somewhere.

You just can't do much with them.
But I respect you trying to pass on a good deal. :D

I bought a couple of five packs from leabay couple days ago and after I get them tested I am going to stick one or two on my rc car and chase the neighbors cat with sounds like fun to me.. I though of also putting a few say four or five on my little rc helo and fly it around the neighborhood at night UFO any one.... Laser sight for my Cannon I have lots of crazy little ideas that i could use them for ....

There are literally thousand of uses for these little babies... But you have to be careful some are testing out at over 30 mw... Safety first.. I am going to put one in a cheap Japanese sword for zday. thought of maybe put it on my bowling ball mortar I have a few airsoft guns i could use for sights... I thinking of lots of different little Ideas.. If your looking for Ideas let me know

yup.. Like I said there are many uses for these little babies and the nice thing of it is that you do not need a driver to power these just hook them up to a 3-5v power source and run... lots of fun

I have heard back from the supplier that they will include shipping for 1.30 for five pieces... if any one is interested in this deal i will post the sellers name
