I bought this, DealExtreme: $13.99 UltraFire A10B Cree R2-WC HA-III 5-Mode 250-Lumen LED Flashlight (1*18650)
and it is a 5 mode flashlight. I plan to install my 100 mW green module inside. But i need to ask, does the switch control the brightness and blinking mode or does the circuitry connected to the LED do that? and If it is driver that does that, can anyone tell me how to make a small pulsing circuitry? at like 10-40 times a second?

It's done in the circuit I believe.
I don't know if this is possible without redesigning the circuit.
Because of the higher current requirements of a LD module, I'd say no.
Just guessing although.LOL

but I want it to blink so it would hurt other people's eyes and do you know where i can buy IR filters?

no i mean that it would get annoying like how a 40 or 60 hertz monitor hurts your eyes and get annoying 0_0

Are you for real? You want to pulse 100mw of laser light into people's eyes so that it hurts??

I think that asking about how to hurt/annoy hurt is PROBABLY in the user agreement and the rules.

An 100mW Green will do a lot more then annoy someone. It will make them blind for life. And you will be annoyed in jail. If you want a flash stunner, use nothing but LED's Replace the standard ones W/ Hi-intensity 4W LED's and build one of the circuits shown on the link.

I'm using that host for my 12X.

The LED strobe is enough if you want to use it for self defense. A laser is impractical.

You cannot drive a diode with the 5-mode circuit. The output current and voltage is too high.

first of all quit posting 2,3,4 times in a row use the edit and secondly you seem to want to hurt ppl in some of your other posts and generally seem to be a bullshitter. but thats just my opinion
