I was going to say there is a button that says " Go advanced " but that doesn't have all the options like it usually does on other VB forums ...

go to User CP > Edit Options > at the bottom of the page on Miscellaneous Options section > select Enhanced Interface third option then save

Use the default blue/white theme. The forum looks more normal with it. The black look is beyond horrible. What annoys me is how I can't use image tags in my sig and it tells me that my old avatar is 'too large' What will I do without my laggy sig and avatar .gifs?

I have to say that I don't entirely like the new forums, but like the other people I guess I'll just have to get used to it.

The new forum isn't that bad, but there are some serious issues that need to be worked out:

1. The reputation points seem to have been reset.

2. The URLs of the old forum simply redirect the user to the forum index. They should redirect to the new URL.

3. The "light" theme from YaBB isn't working.

The great pyramids of Quote!!! (probably another glitch with this "new" version) I just wish it would go back to normal, its to annoying to use... I'll only be on here one every couple of days.. maybe...

Thanks whoever changed this.

Devin.

Nevermind, the giant glitches disapeared.

dear members

please understand this change had to be done. the old forum was growing too fast for YaBB which uses a flatfile system to store data

i worked for 30+ hrs straight last weekend on bring the new site up

i am dedicating every day after work this week to helping fix problems

contact me for help

i am willing to pay for any vbulletin skin members want

it was not possible to import reputation. i did everything possible to import all data possible

i realize change is difficult but please hang in there with me

the reality is yabb couldn't handle the growth of LPF in a flatfile system.

please hang in there w/ me, email me for any help or questions

also there a lot of features in vbulletin that are much better than yabb... for example try out search function

vbulletin lets you attach multiple images to posts as well

Yeah, I think people will get used to it eventually. It's been a little annoying so far, but I'm sure it'll pan out. btw, it sounds like shadowvale's been working quite hard to make everything all good for us. I think we should all take a poll on a good vbulletin theme, and choose the best for the forum.

I don't think you should be paying for a new skin. There are sites that offer free vBulletin skins.

However, I do have a suggestion. You should put the old YaBB forum back online but lock it so that no new changes (e.g., new posts) can be made to it.

I like the new forum. I've used vB forever so its not too much of a learning curve for me.

I switched it over to the default first thing. It's very easy to read and it looks like most of the other boards I use. Good work.
