How to focus BR for best divergence?

Hi,
The title says it all. How do i focus a Blu-Ray™ laser for the best divergence?

Just focus it at a far away wall to the smallest spot you can, you can also take it outside at night and stare at the beam, then focus it to where you see the entire beam stays tight through the air.

Focus for the best divergence...

Uh... keep screwing around with the collimating lens until it looks like a tight beam... ?

I have a small front surface mirror set on a fence around 20 feet from my workshop door. I clamp up the blue-aray so that the reflection comes back next to me....easy peasy :)

An n'th of a turn of the lens makes a lot of difference.....

ok thanks for the info. ill try putting a mirror somewhere in my house and use its reflection;D

i can barely see the beam on mine... :-[ i also see grey around the dot when i point it at my garage door (faded red colour) at night. is this normal?

Use a surface mirror if you can.A regular mirror will screw up your dot. :p
