Does anyone know where I could get a 300 to 500 mw green laser with very good divergence? I found one on a cite called o like called 400 mw. Crown upgrade or something like that would that one have good divergence ? Or maybe there is one for sale here in the forum ? Thanks

O-like 400mW are rather fine. As for the divergence, how good is good enough ? Divergence can be improved on any laser using beam expander. Those can be commercial, or you can build one yourself. There will always be some power lost in the process .. up to most of it. So maybe state what you want to use the laser for.

I would like to hit distant targets such as clouds mountains and empty buildings like 1 to 4 miles away and see the dot

Then you really don't need to worry about divergence that much.

Who cares if the size of the dot is, the size of a beach ball, when it's a mile away, from your perspective, it will still appear to be small enough to point with.

I suggest for now you buy a cheaper laser, and observe the results from it, before jumping to 200mW+

Edit look on o-like, they have a laser with a built in beam expander. Reviews on it have been lukewarm at best though.

From what you said about wanted to see it from far distant... I wonder... if the dot from 2km still appears to be as small as when it's 10 meters away... are we still be able to see it from the naked eye?

I have no idea what's the distance but I can see the dot of my 638nm on some clouds - and it looks huge because it has the worst divergence of all. None of my other lasers are visible on the same clouds.
