Thanks! I will buy all of those Raz! Like 95% chance I will be getting that 50mW. But, do you have any other pair of glasses other than those, that are around the same price range? Im not a big fan of the look on those. I saw a raelly nice pair, but it was $70....

Edit: Is 50mW safe enuf to shine at stars and is it visible in daytime?

50mw is completely safe to shine into the sky without goggles. Just don't shine it at airplanes/helicopters. In the sunlight the beam won't be visible. The dot will still be easily visible even in direct light. You can try buying these goggles if you think they look nicer or you want to avoid WL.

Thanks those look a lot more nice! And whats WL?

And in case of an emergency with a laser, if I get it into my eye without goggles on, what do I do as my first move?

WL=wickedlasers. Some people here don't trust them.
Don't hit yourself in the eye without goggles. I suppose you should go to an eye doctor asap if it does happen.
Btw check these out.

uhh, blink....and then close your eyes. you cant really do much. If you see spots in your vision for over an hour; arrange a appointment with your local eye doctor so he can take a picture of the inside of your eye to check for scarring. and WL stands for wicked lasers. their site is http://www.wickedlasers.com But don't buy ANYTHING other than the shades from that site.

Ugh.

Don't buy from DX, EVER... please. You will get much higher quality units from other companies... you'll pay more, but it'll be proportionately better.
Also, read the FAQ and use the search bar! They will get you places. :)

i don't know what your talking about. Most of DX's items are pretty dang good quality. And i don't know if i feel like spending twice as much for a laser. After all, IR isn't as much of a big deal as people make it. So its fine if some leaks

Eventually I'll save for some top-company lasers, but for now, I am gonna stick with DX, since they are pretty solid quality lasers, and a very nice price (you can buy up to 3 different lasers for the price of 1 laser on another site...)

And I think im gettin the 50mW too bob :D

I cant wait to get a 200mW. thats gonna be so sick to light matches from like 10 feet away. btw, u getin glasses/goggles with the 50mW? And im a bit freaked out about this IR, ill prolly never use 50mW inside, unless im reallllll careful.

Umm... Aright. the first words that popped into my head after reading that were "WHAT THE HELL?!??!".

DX lasers are CRAP. Pure and simple. The only ones with any real merit at all are the 200mW red and one of the 30mW greens. Have you forgotten what good quality is? I have not seen, heard of, nor tested any DX laser that performed at-spec, save 1. And, guess what most of their units are? Newwish - the source of MORE THAN HALF of the total eBaysers out there (the other half is spymodex...those are even worse). Geez.

And, another WTH?!??!
IR IS BAD! HOLY CRAP! How would you feel about 70+mWs of green ricocheting around? Not too good, I'd bet. And yet, that's about what leaks out of most IR-filterless lasers out there. Sure, it diverges faster, but the damage is comparable.

GRR. Learn stuff before posting things like that.
