Help! Spring broke off from the bottom of my laser.

Well I'll go for it.. Better than waiting 1+ months for a risky send back to o-like. If I mess anything up I'll keep it for spare parts to build my own laser during the summer!

One jury rigging approach that worked for me with a pen laser... where I couldn't get into the host, was to bend the spring a little bit at the narrow end, and to sort of twist it on. It's not a great repair, but the pressure from batteries provides enough contact so the laser works...

Hopefully someone less laze and more experienced in repairs can direct you further.
