i am going to buy a green, violet, and red laser soon and im wanting them all to be about 150-200mw. i was wondering what u guys think of these lasers

RED's:
www.rayfoss.com
or
New Style red laser 200mW /adjustable [OLNRL200] - $44.99 : O-Like, Quality Products, Great Prices
VIOLET:
www.rayfoss.com
or
405nm 150mW blu-ray pen /adjustable [OLBVL150] - $95.99 : O-Like, Quality Products, Great Prices
GREEN:
www.rayfoss.com
or
200mW transformable green laser [OLV6200] - $165.00 : O-Like, Quality Products, Great Prices

input and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

what im looking to get out of each of these is a good focusable beam for burning and good quality also just look cool i guess haha

If it were me, I'd pick every one from O-like.

You should not buy Waterproof laser if you do not really need to. Waterproof design requires additional lens that cut out some power and make a lot of artifacts on the dot, especialy one the water has dried out.
However, Green from rayfoss has been reviewed many times on this forum here, and so far it has proven to be a reliable unit, although 200 mW power ratings are WITH IR included, real green power is somewhere above 150mW.

However, AFAIK nobody yet reviewed O-like's 200mW tranformables so... if you would be ther first one, it would be great. Considering it is o-like we are talking about, the review cannot be bad ;)

Welcome to LPF. Enjoy your time with us here.

Please read up on laser safety, so "looking cool" don't get anyone hurt ;)

iv seen the video and iv read the review on the rayfoss green and that's the one i was leaning towards. as far as the violet go's do u think theirs a considerable difference in 150mw vs. 200mw for burning and beam visibility? and yes i know the safety per-cations and by " looking cool " i ment the build of the units. so for now im pretty sure im getting the o-like 200mw red and im not sure on the other ones. anyone have anymore input?

ohh also if u guys know of any other sites that have better lasers for about the same price please share.

O-like and Rayfoss are the best you can get for the money...

I said, if it were me , I'd go with all three O-like...
In violets, 150 and 200 mW are not much of a difference.

If you go to 'Reviews' sections, there is a sticky by nikokapo: Review compilation thread

You can find all the laser ever reviewed on LPF there, sorted out.

Welcome to the forum.
You seem to be a smart individual. You have done at least a little studying-up before you decide. The 405nm (violets), you refer to as being underpowered, all come from e-bay or a shady company. Buy from a Co. recommended here and you will get your money's worth.

I don't know about laser lands, although there has just recently been a terrible review of a green laser from that site.
I would stay away if you ask me.
Also, you can use the [EDIT] button to edit your previous post, add questions, you don't have to make a new one...
But since you only have around 8, you are forgiven hehe :D

You picked a fine selection of lasers.
Rayfoss green is, bear in mind, about 150 mW true green power.
Members here: Hallucynogenyc and Silvershot have one of those, they can assure you it is of great build quality.

The list in post #10 is really good.
Although you will have trouble ordering on O-like till tomorrow, they are on New Year Holiday untill 20th Feb.
You should add Susie on MSN: o-like@live.cn
You should politely say what products you wish to order, and what is total amount including shipping, then you will pay with paypal on same email adress directly and she will send you your lasers.

They don't have the standard 'ckeckout' system on their website, but if you ask me, chat through MSN is way better way to order.
Enjoy!

Overtime? 8:30 AM in Cro right now...
Don't your worry about that :D

Lens mods... talk to LarryFDW or jayrob about those, however, forget the lens upgrades on green lasers, they are not changeable.
About Red, it is changeable, you should be able to remove the lens and swap it out with 650-g-1 lens or similar, will give you around 20% boost in power.

I am not sure about violet.

If it is using standard M9 screw thread on it's lenses, then they are identical to Aixiz module lenses, which's modifications are avaliable widely here, again talk to Either Larry or jayrob.
Jay has 650-g-1 and 405-g-1 lens mods, and Larry has high power springless assemblies for aixiz modules... I think you should talk to them about it.
However be prepared to cough up about 50$ for jay's lenses (but we are talking about 30% boost in power here).
I don't know about Larry's much.

However, my advice is : forget about each and every mW for now.
Once you recieve your lasers and begin lighting them up, you will forget all about the milliwatts and things, as you will be amazed by brightness and color. And general awsomness. :D
