Where can I get a small safety acrylic lense for my 405nm laser? I would like a flat square sheet to cut our circles for goggles, or if I can get disc's in the size I want, even better! Looking for under $50

wait what... you don't just make safety glasses that would be a horrible idea. With a 500mw laser you don't want to use an acrylic lens because you are getting to the point where the power density is to high and you can melt the lens. You could try these lenses http://laserpointerforums.com/f55/gb-9-g2-lenses-87688.html they are glass and will increase the output power of your laser to 650-700mW. As far as safety glasses go you could get an eagle pair from SL and they would work fine and would cost you around $45. If you went the cheap way you could get a pair of UVEX glasses from amazon ($8.50) which have been tested here to block up to 2W of 405-450. since they are not a laser safety glasses manufacturer the optical densities of different batches may change.

I think u misunderstand what I'm asking. I want to buy the glasses that u wear to protect your eyes. I will buy goggles that have removable lenses. I was wondering if u can purchase a flat sheet of the protective glass

I have never heard about anyone selling this material in sheets. And since it is your sight we are talking about, there is not much room for sloppiness or experiment. Certainly it would be best to get certified goggles, or at least cheap goggles with which some other experienced forum member has good experience with.

I was hoping this would work because it is a wrap around design as well as the fact that it looks bad ass

Certainly yes .. wraparound would be nice, and functional I guess. It would be hard to fold though.
There are basically 2 methods used for goggles. The glass either reflects one specific wavelength with high efficiency .. or it absorbs it. The plastic ones are usually the absorbing type. The beam is absorbed in the volume of the material. The energy however affects the material. Burning lasers will, well .. burn the plastic. Still it is usually second or so till it gets through (I certainly tried with mine), so you have usually enough time to direct the beam elsewhere, or get your eyes out of its path, and it will save you from quick random accidental beam pass.
Reflective goggles can withstand the beam for practically any period of time. They are usually glass, with only very thin layer on the surface. Problem with these is that any deep scratch will go through reflective surface. But I never had such goggles, so I can't really tell much about it.

Not happening, seeing as the protective layer is actually a coating, bending it like you would standard acrylic would just cause it to stretch and probably crack. You'd need to pre-bend them into shape then get them coated, which isn't gonna happen for <$400, let alone <$50.
