Ok thanks everyone for your help! Jufran88's suggestion worked!!

All ok now. Both the modified ones are outputting 700 mA and the original 1050 mA and all independent of pin selection on the test load. Even have the modes back!:D

:thanks:

Edit: Tried to give you rep Jufran, but it wont let me...:(

Awesome! I'm glad I could help! The output of the 7135 isn't common with IC ground. I found that out the hard way myself.

Nice work guys,

I,ve just done the same to my driver from Deal X (SKU 7612) following the info from Jufran88 and intend using it for the 3.8mm red diode.
Diode +ve to + sign near D1
Diode -ve to Q1 nlarged left pad.

Battery + co centre pad on reverse side
Battery -ve to outer ring reverse side.

Try hooking up your inputs to the contact ring in the back instead of the top... It should be working but you should try that

Hi,

Looks like it's working fine, it's outputting 700ma into my test load.

The modes are working, but a bit difficult to see as all I have is a multimeter.
I've 2 of the 3.8mm diodes on order and I'll drive one with the board above and the other with a home made driver.
