Okay I recieved this laser today (for parts or not working... "Laser light is dim") but I intend to fix it but I've never seen this set up on a labby so I'm really confused.

Above AC AC there are two screws for an obvious power supply to be connected to... but there isn't an on switch.. unless it just goes on automatically when you connect it up?

What sort of power cable will I need etc etc pleas help.

There's nothing else on the sides or the backs of the PSU/driver.

It says DC 12V 12.5A on it, but there doesnt seem to be a connection for it anywhere!

Edit: Sorry for DOUBLE THREAD??? don't even know how i did it??

Admin please delete one thread.

It's a CNI head for sure... More angles on the power supply, please.

Try it.

Pics in a sec..

..and I can't try it because I have nothing to connect to the mains with it.. unless there was something I could use as a substitute but still safe of course.

Surely you have several of these you're not using

strip the ends opposite to the outlet plug, and insert them into the appropriate screw terminals.

It may require modulation input to lase. Look for a wire pair or anything indicating it might be for an input signal. Perhaps the green terminal in the fourth picture?

So strip the head with 3 holes in it?

Can someone also tell me please which wires go to what part of the AC AC part.

FG is ground I know..

If you look at the picture with the front part facing you does the blue go on the left and the brown on the right or vice versa?

What would I do with that input bit to make it lase, because at the moment there isn't a weak light when I turn it on.
