G'day Bob, I really liked the video. A truly different perspective!
In Australia not only do we have strict Laser laws we also have strict fireworks laws!
Our Government say's that it is only to protect us from ourselves to which one might actually think for just a moment that they care about us until you realise that if they did they would have stopped the sale of Tobacco years ago!

busman2,

Thanks!!! In the Southern California area where I live, personal fireworks are illegal. However most years I wife and I travel to our Aunt & Uncle's farm in a very remote area of Idaho and get to enjoy this:

Oh yes the make a tidy sum from tobacco tax, that is of course why people are still allowed to smoke! Our politicians here are no better than yours neither is either of the main two political parties here better than the other. You just vote for the one that at the time does not seem to be as Bad as the other!

Hey Bob Diaz I really like the look of them fireworks. When I was a kid we could buy the everywhere in the weeks leading up to GuyForks night. Boy did we have some fun with them! It took just a few though to do some stupid Fun to have it banned for everyone.

It sounds about the same as it is here. Every time I vote, it is for the lesser of two evils, and that's not just in the national elections but applies at the state level too. The two parties here in the US aren't really as different as they pretend to be either, even though members of each party hate each others guts. They don't work for us anyway, they work for corporate interests. We don't really have democracy here.

When I was a kid the fireworks stands would open everywhere about two weeks before the 4th of July. First they banned exploding fireworks but allowed the others but even then a few idiots ruined it for millions! Now many states have completely banned all fireworks.

first of all, there are socialist elements in our government, AND HAVE BEEN FOR A LONG TIME. they just don't call it that. everyone throws around words like socialism, communism, capitalism, terrorism, etc., without giving them much thought.

hey, why do you think it's called SOCIAL security? I call it a broken pyramid/ quasi ponzi sceme, but hey, what do I know.

I have to disagree with BubonicCronic about the rest of the world wanting our money. it's toxic. study up on the federal reserve, goldman sachs, quantitative easing, etc. maybe watch "inside job", a documentary about the bailouts. you will learn how toxic our dollar is to the world, and understand why so many nations do not want it as the reserve currency (used to buy every barrel of oil anywhere).

Socialist has been replaced with the word "Progressive" to make it sound better.

Wooo! Best holiday ever. I'm a big fan of liberty and independence.

Shot my laser into the sky last night with the fireworks going off. Surprised it was so bright for a blue laser.
