Good glasses for 445nm

Im looking for a good pair of glasses that's been reviewed (hopefully with pictures or a video) so i can see the actual amount of glare that passes through

Money isn't an issue, safety comes first. What are some recommended glasses?

Agreed. OEM Laser Systems goggles are amazing. I'm picking up a pair of DI3 multi-wavelengths in a couple weeks. Just doesn't cover 550-750nm and 850+. IF I ever get any of those, I'll get another pair.

Does 445nm emit any invisible nasty crap like IR or UV that will damage my eyes while I can't see it?

445nm does not leak UV or IR like 532 does because 532nm is achieved by pulsing an IR diode which reduces it's wavelength (say from 1094nm to 532nm). But 445 is pure blue through and through.

OEM Goggles
Worth every penny. I was in the EXACT same boat as you about a month ago. I bought a couple cheap pairs I thought would be ok (I'm not looking into the beam, right?) ... without a laser power meter, I can't tell you how much power it's actually NOT blocking, but when I tested the cheap goggles for 445, I could still burn everything on the other side. At first, it scatters the photons while it burns through the goggles which takes a few seconds, which is the purpose of them, but these more expensive ones protect MUCH better.

The cheap pair will still show a dot that is still bright enough that it bothers me to look at it.

I say save up for the nice ones. That's what I have been doing. Taken about 3 months, but it's worth it. And with the DI3 ($160 after shipping), you have extremely safe goggles for UV to 532nm and 808nm. You'd need another pair for red, but I believe there is another pair that has lesser ratings but includes protection from the red 650nm.

I ended up buying 2 from laserglow: Laserglow Technologies - Handheld Lasers, Alignment Lasers and Lab / OEM Lasers as they were offering a lpf discount

Laserglow Tech does also have good product from what I hear. Those look more than decent Which lense did you get? For UV - 532 (purple blue and green)?
