I hate it when girls buy me clothes that don't fit me or I don't like.

Yes, but don't you just love making fun of friends when they end up wearing those clothes:eg:

One of my friend's new gf went shopping for him... he now looks like farmer joe, all that's missing is a straw hat:crackup:

lol! The main problem is that even though I point out that I don't want clothes for presents, they still go and get me clothes! :gun:
Oc i appreciate presents and free stuff but I'd rather have them hand me $20

Yeah... nothing you can do... smile, nod, say thank you, and throw it in the trash.

Or use for a rag.

My aunt got me a pinstriped pink polo, a loooong while back. I mean I saw that thing and literally thought to myself :wtf:

I don't mind wearing pink, but it made me look like a fat piece of candy.

Made for a good rag:eek:

Since than I ask for gifts to fall into the "gadget", "dangerous", "tech" or "alcohol" categories. No wine! I'm allergic:p

I would argue investing in technology is more conducive to society than investing in fashion, anyway.

You could argue... it won't get you to having any fun though ;)

Speaking from persona experience:eek:

What does that make me then ?
I do half the cooking. I clean the house about as much. I help with our son equally. (When I'm home from work)
She doesn't quite "get" the laser hobby but doesn't care about my involvement.
She HATES shopping at least as much as I do.(More if you consider how much she puts it off even when it is needed.)
She has almost completed a university level degree even though she has diagnosed/recognized learning disabilities. (I didn't even finish a first year of community college.)
She could talk a sentence to make a trucker blush though she works entirely with children.
She would take as much abuse as anyone might care to send her way then beat the crap out of you in return without taking it personally. (I taught her that ! Boy do I regret that sometimes.)

But enough off topic.

I think that most females do not like the "special" attention that can be thrown their way by some juvenile people. Their reluctance to show themselves is understandably to keep things simple. For those that declare themselves up front they find that after a while things settle down and they are treated just a badly as the rest of us.
