Does anyone know what kind of laser would be in one of these medical laser imager? diode low power YAG DPSS? thanks

You meen this kind of laser pointer? Medical laser pointers must be very professional,its power must be very precise.

Probably just a low power IR diode or maybe HeNe. Pretty sure they just scan film and print.
