Question 1: How many Lasers do you currently own or are in possession of?

- 23 working: 16 handhelds, 1 lab style, 5 HeNe, 1 ML Argon (26 if you count two pointers needing repair and a seemingly dead HeNe tube)

Question 2: Of those, how many do you not use at least once a month?

- It varies. Some months maybe only the argon gets used and others maybe all of them especially if I'm checking battery levels. Depends on my mood.

Question 3: Are there any that you cannot remember the last time you used them?

- Two I guess. My small red bare tube HeNe probably hasn't been fired up since spring and a 405nm eBay pen that's been AWOL for close to a year now. Probably find it when I move.

Question 4: What is your most used Laser currently?

My 120mw PGL-III-C 58nm followed closely by my 100mw JL PL-E Pro 473nm. The argon, of course, gets its monthly love too.

Question 5: What is your most common application(burning, pointing, photography, etc) and how often do you engage in it?

- Enjoying the beam color and/or photography.

Question 6: Do you have any Lasers which you only retain possession of to be able to include the wavelength in your signature? If yes, which one(s)?

- No. I buy wavelengths I'll enjoy and if they provide a bit of "bragging rights" that's a bonus I guess.

Question 7: How often per day/week do you login to LPF to check your UserCP?

- I can't remember the lat time I logged in specifically to check that. I pretty much always have at least one tab open to LPF constantly.

Question 8: How often per day/week do you browse threads you are not yet subscribed to?

- Every time I visit. I rarely sub to threads.

Question 9: How many times per day/week do you load the B/S/T section of the forum?

- A couple times a week depending if I'm in a "browsing" or "looking to buy" mood.

Question 10: What do you consider an "appropriate" number of Lasers to own?

- As many as you want and can afford.

Well you DO live in Australia so that'll be understandable .
But when the Laser 5-0 starts kicking down doors .
You might need some of this .

Now that you mentioned it .
They probably are gonna make flashlights above 1000 lumen illegal any time now.

Any time now knifes with a sharp stabby edge and then steel wire thinner than 2mm and then cars with more than 200 bhp and then condoms thinner than 3cm (YES! 3cm)

Question 1: How many Lasers do you currently own or are in possession of?
See my signature:) Still in progress.

Question 2: Of those, how many do you not use at least once a month?
About half of it.

Question 3: Are there any that you cannot remember the last time you used them?
Nope.

Question 4: What is your most used Laser currently?
This is a tough one. But Id' say 50mW little nipper from fasttech.com.

Question 5: What is your most common application (burning, pointing, photography, etc) and how often do you engage in it?
10% burning, 40% taking pics, 60% sky lasing. Weekend is usually the showtime.

Question 6: Do you have any Lasers which you only retain possession of to be able to include the wavelength in your signature? If yes, which one(s)?
Soon to be added...

Question 7: How often per day/week do you login to LPF to check your UserCP?
Mornings & evenings per day.

Question 8: How often per day/week do you browse threads you are not yet subscribed to?
See answer at question 7.

Question 9: How many times per day/week do you load the B/S/T section of the forum?
Since it's one of my favorite threads (on pair with Multimedia and Other section) a regular look is the answer.

Question 10: What do you consider an "appropriate" number of Lasers to own?
Budget depending. 2-3 pieces per wavelength would be a standard, perhaps except of 445-450nm in my case.;)

...

Question 11: (In what extend) does your laser hobby collide with your personal life?
No.

Good thread!

Question 1: How many Lasers do you currently own or are in possession of?

- 4, all pens (660, 635, 532, and 405 eBay Newwish style matching set)

Question 2: Of those, how many do you not use at least once a month?

- none, use them all at least once per month

Question 3: Are there any that you cannot remember the last time you used them?

- No

Question 4: What is your most used Laser currently?

- The 532

Question 5: What is your most common application(burning, pointing, photography, etc) and how often do you engage in it?

Photography followed by pointing.

Question 6: Do you have any Lasers which you only retain possession of to be able to include the wavelength in your signature? If yes, which one(s)?

No, I use them all. :D

Question 7: How often per day/week do you login to LPF to check your UserCP?

Greatly depends. Sometimes every day, sometimes longer gaps depending on how busy I am.

Question 8: How often per day/week do you browse threads you are not yet subscribed to?

Same as above.

Question 9: How many times per day/week do you load the B/S/T section of the forum?

When I need to approve a sale. :p

Question 10: What do you consider an "appropriate" number of Lasers to own?

One of every wavelength maybe? My objective for my collection is to have one of each visible pen wavelength. Right now my wish list is: 593.5 pen (LG Rigel), 445 pen (matching host as my current four lasers) and a custom 520 pen in silver leadlight host. I would probably skip 589 (too close to 593.5), and 473 (unless I can get a hold one of the diode versions I will avoid this wavelength as the CNI CR2 pen is fugly).
