Lightbulb Free Online MIT course on LASERS

Hope this hasn't been posted yet. nothing in search.

This is a series of lectures on LASERS by Professor Shaoul Ezekiel for MIT OpenCourseWare.
Laser Fundamentals I, II, III
Free Online MIT Course Materials | Supplemental Resources | MIT OpenCourseWare

I found this very informative and think others may enjoy it too.
The videos are streamed from the site using an RM file. I opened them in VLC media player.

The first lecture is very basic, best for people new to lasers. The 2nd lecture is when things start getting good with lab demonstrations and explanations.

MIT OCW is a great tool for learning about all sorts of things. I use it all the time.

You might also want to look at:
6.097 - Fundamentals of Photonics
http://ocw.mit.edu/OcwWeb/Electrical...Home/index.htm

8.03 - Physics III (has some EM wave stuff -- I took a course similar to it last semester, but that course isn't available unfortunately):

I watched the first 10 mins. or so. Interesting, but I haven't gotten to anything except drawings yet. I'll watch some more tomorrow.
