but please dont beat up on me if i seem to ask a silly question.

It wasn't your silly questions that mostly earned your rep, it was your attitude to other members in this thread:

http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/wts-sky-lasers-100mw-532nm-overspec-169-mw-72703.html#post1047944

If you want to stay around, do some reading. Chances are if you have a question, a a few other people have already opened up threads asking the same question.

Also, assuming you're 14/15 (from the 97 in your name, most people with numbers in the 80-99 range is their birth year) it is worth mentioning that is an adult community; if you want to fit in and be respected you've got to start acting a few years older than you are. [Ignore what I just said if my assumption is incorrect]

If you stick around and add to the community you'll earn your rep back in no time :)

ive had this user name for many years, it was made shortly after i purchased a 1997 mustang cobra in september of 1999.

well im not 14-15

im 33 born jan 1 1979

i just dont like it when i feel disrespected so i give as i get.

but i think some ppl got the wrong impression.

im married with 2 kids and nice house.

but back on topic. im not hear to make enemies or create fights. im hear to learn and grow with this new hobby im interested in.

I'm glad you see the light (horrible pun intended).

There's lots to learn here. It's easy to get over-excited by a new hobby like this and want to jump right in - but taking it slow, reading, and getting a feel for the community and its values (like safety, responsible laser usage, quality building, etc) is the right way to jump in :)

Jerry will probably give you a formal "Welcome" soon (hehe :)) but until he does:

Is the other kid too young for glasses, or just a red-headed step-child unworthy of protection? :shhh:

she is 2 years old. she will never be in the same room or around this laser.

my oldest is 5 years old.

if i can find glasses small enough then i will let her see also. but id rather not chance it at all. if you have kids you know that a 2 year old will not keep glasses on long if at all.

my 5 year old is very well behaved. :)

Hang in there Brian. I'm sure you have been on car forums and each forum has its own personality.

rHD said it best. Lay back and get a feel for things and you will have no problem.

Ford guy, huh?

Not sure if you are joking with me or talking to the OP. I'm vain, so I will assume it is me. :D

I used to be a Ford guy.

It all started on the way home from the hospital in my Dad's brand new yellow 1965 Mustang 289/3 speed manual transmission. He still has it today!

My first car was a 67 Cougar,

It ran high 13's.

My first new car was an 88 LX 5.0
Next was a 1993 Cobra Mustang
Then GM came out with the C5 version of the Corvette.

That changed everything...

However, my brother has a wicked 2003 Mustang, 500rwhp/605rwt
