Rayfoss says they'll add it for free... and your trying to talk him out of it now?

The ONLY benefit to having IR in the beam is burning, and even that's limited in benefit because the IR is a lot more divergent and usually isn't precisely centered with the green. Where the green is focused is rarely where the IR is focused, meaning it only aids burning marginally at best.

I don't want to take any chances with the IR so I will ask them to put the filter on for me just in case.
