Oh. They're out of stock. :banghead:

Well. Does somebody else have a link to some good quality 16340 batteries? :undecided:

EDIT: I can't stress enough how annoying it's getting, trying to find the right stuff. My blood pressure has got to be through the roof this week. .-.

Do these look good? Will work in the i4 intellicharger? Please? x)

2P IMR 16340 550 mAh 3 7V Rechargeable Limn High Drain Battery CR123 A CR123A B | eBay

Look good? Works in i4 intellicharger? Are actually 16340 3.7v and will work in my 300mW 532nm HL?

EDIT: Just saw your link. Essentially the same thing as the one I just linked, except there's a *SLIGHT* discount for my buying 2 at a time rather than 1? Or are they different?

The one you linked says ---

Model: 16340 550mAh

The one I linked says ---

Model: IMR 18490 CR123A

they look good to me. don't know about the brand, but the size and voltage looks right, and in reality with a good charge you'll get 4.1 -4.2 volts, and a nice bright laser. I just tested mine on the multimeter and one cell is throwing 3.9, the other 4.1 volts and I've used them a fair bit in the last few days.

I was actually gonna buy one of my own, and someone messaged me that they run upwards of $120. So, yeah, I'll probably be trying to send you mine at some point. x)

Just don't get ours 'mixed up', if mine ends up with more power. :na:

Thanks again.

You cant mix them up if you get it from the GB.....Kevin puts a sticker on the host with the SN and it says something like Livinloud's HL532-300 SN: xxxxxxxx

Its one of the untold perks of being in the GB. I might ask ORF to have Kevin change the name on mine to something else......hmmmmm now to decide on my lasers name

Yes a LPM will set you back a minimum of $120. Mine cost me ~$450 maybe $500, cant remember but the sensor alone was $205

I got mine with a sticker showing username, model and S/N - no group buy, was I just lucky? Have to say I liked the personal touch.

I'd love to join the latest group buy but I don't have enough rep power + paypal gift makes me nervous. Thankfully the thing I have my eye on would literally only save me a few dollars so it's not too bad.

Till next time!

EDIT: also forgot to say, you'll love that 300mW Cody. I know my 100mW is a massive grin inducer, visible in the house under most conditions, visible in the day in the rain and of course at dusk and darkness. The beam just appears to reach the stars. Knowing how bright mine is, please be careful with yours - but make certain to have lots of fun!

Rep has nothing to do with the GB. Im pretty sure you could create a new account and have 0 rep and join. You dont need to use paypal i dont think. I believe as long as you can get the $$ to LaserBtb it doesnt matter. Also why would paypal scare you? They protect the buyer a heck of a lot more than they do the seller. Sellers actually can get screwed over using paypal. very easy for a buyer to win a claim.

I thought that the name on the sticker was a GB perk but guess not. WAY TO CRUSH MY DREAMS

The GB thread states you need to be above a certain rep power (I think it's 5, off top of my head) or alternatively as a new member you must use PP gift. I can completely understand why, just using PP gift as a method of payment makes me uneasy is all. I have been under the impression payment is sent to the organiser of the GB, who then sends it, along with the order, in one bulk go to laserbtb. Please correct me if I am wrong.

As I say the model I'd like to get would only shave a few dollars off the price in the GB anyway, it's the HL 405 I'm most likely to go for.

payment goes to ORF who forwards the funds to Kevin. You are also correct on the PP gift and rep power needs to be 15 to send as for service but most send as gift anyways since the extra is donated to the forum. I dont even read those things anymore since ive seen 3 of ORFs GBs so i could care less about all that crap. I just send the funds and wait for my laser :D

i can understand some trepidation in sending pp funds as a gift, but...orf has shown his commitment and honesty in all the gb's. your money couldn't be safer than with him. you will get the laser you paid for.
