Hey all! On my quest to better understand the fundamentals of lasers I stumbled upon this very interesting video published by the Massachusetts institute of technology. It goes through the basics of the physics behind lasers and oscillators and their properties, Enjoy!

This is a very good video, here is the complete course.
Understanding Lasers and Fiberoptics | MIT OpenCourseWare

And if you are interested in optics i would recommend you to read this book.

I found that video not too long ago and watched it.
