Default DVD player laser diode please help

ok so i decided to make a laser out of an old DVD player, model-VUE CD RW VUE-336.

the thing is, i dont know how to hook it up to power.
or how to make it work. can someone please help me.

As a rule, it has to be a dvd BURNER to be worth while
