hey i just had a doubt........ what would happen is two laser beams's paths cross each other,i.e, the two laser beams have a point of intersection

well if each beam had a power of 15,000 watts at the point they cross there would be a realy hot spot !

3D printers make use of this, multiple beams are focused on a point in resin and it hardens. More beams cross = more power. really fun to watch!

so if two beams cross each other(in free space) will the continue to travel in the same direction or will there be any deviation of path and that about their power??

phisics, phisics, please :D

seriously, nothing happen ..... it's light, after all, and if you cross two low power beams, just nothing happens ..... as for any other light beams intersecting, after all ;)

They still travel in the same direction, there is just an increase in power where they intersect, hence its use in 3D printing.
