I have a ton of these 4600 mah batts from my r/c cars and boats . . .

seems like a good fit for a longer host . . .

depending on what kind of current draw you're looking to pull... Ni-Cad will give a higher current draw because they have lower internal resistance.
They will have less capacity though.

well these are 4600 mah Ni-Mh with a max discharge of 35 A . . . seems like they would last a good long time with 3 of them . . .

depending on what kind of current draw you're looking to pull... Ni-Cad will give a higher current draw because they have lower internal resistance.
They will have less capacity though.
