Is this just an overprices over rated blue ray diode

It's been removed. But looking at the code. It appears it was a blu-ray out of a PS3 sled. Those have a red and an IR as well, and a PD as well iirc. You can order them from PSXboy.com for $30, and they can ship pretty fast. $27 if you order 5.
